All you need for personal organization: tasks, to-dos, projects and reminders

Chaos Control was created to help you manage your goals, to-do lists and tasks in both your business and personal life. People dont usually achieve impressive results simply by being good at task management. Its the ability to set legitimate goals that makes the difference. Just write down your desired outcomes to make them real. This simple technique helps you to prioritize your goals before acting on them. Chaos Control is a task manager based on the best ideas of GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology created by David Allen. Whether you are running a business, launching an app, working on a project or simply planning your holiday trip, Chaos Control is a perfect tool to manage your goals, juggle your priorities, and organize your tasks to get things done. And the best part is, you can handle both heavyweight project planning and simple daily routine like shopping list management in one flexible app. Also, Chaos Control is available across all major mobile and desktop platforms with seamless sync. HERE IS HOW IT WORKS: 1) MANAGE YOUR PROJECTSProject is a goal combined with a set of tasks you need to complete in order to achieve it. Create as many projects as you like to write down all the desired outcomes you have 2) ORGANIZE YOUR GOALSCreate unlimited number of projects and group them by category using Folders 3) USE GTD CONTEXTSOrganize tasks from different projects using flexible context lists. If you are familiar with GTD you would just love this feature 4) PLAN YOUR DAYSet due dates for tasks and make plans for any particular day 5) USE CHAOS BOXPut all the incoming tasks, notes and ideas into Chaos Box in order to process them later. It works similar to GTD inbox, but you can use it as a simple to-do list 6) SYNC YOUR DATAChaos Control works on both desktop and mobile devices. Setup an account and sync your projects across all of your devices This app is designed with creative people in mind. Designers, writers, developers, startup founders, entrepreneurs of all kinds and pretty much anyone with ideas and desire to make them happen. We combined the power of GTD with the convenient interface to help you with:☆ personal goal setting☆ task management☆ time management☆ planning your business and personal activities☆ building your routine☆ handling simple to do lists, checklists and shopping lists☆ catching your ideas and thoughts to process them later KEY FEATURES☆ Seamless cloud sync across all major mobile and desktop platforms☆ GTD-inspired Projects and Contexts supplemented with Folders, sub-folders and sub-contexts☆ Recurring tasks (daily, weekly, monthly and chosen days of the week)☆ Chaos Box - Inbox for your unstructured tasks, notes, memos, ideas and thoughts. The app really fits my mental model for how I organize my work. It's great to have a daily overview of all tasks that I need to work on so I never forget anything important. The only thing that I'm missing are subtasks with their own deadline.

Really starting to enjoy this. This app is so easy on the eyes. It just needs a few things more to be perfect. Drag and drop to make tasks subtasks would be great. Adding notes to tasks. And most importantly a WearOS app! Even if it does nothing but add tasks to the chaos box. So many times I think of something but can't use my phone and using a smart watch to add it would be great.

This used to be confusing for me; but it's so much easier now! It had previously been tricky to use bc the devs LITERALLY incorporated all the features anyone could want for scheduling/planning/organizing/etc but it's much easier now! My only suggestion would be: I'd love to Swipe the Edge of my screen to open the app. (It may already be a feature; just started using it again...)

I think the app is AMAZING for what it is but I personally was looking for a project management app that allowed more information such as notes and attachments so i'll continue on my search but Chaos Control is badass as a GTD Organizer can get 🤟 !!!

This app is an awesome way to dissect all your work into small achievable steps. However, I think that there needs to be better syncing with my Google calendar for seeing my tasks on a daily timeline. Maybe having a daily, weekly, and monthly view of all your tasks in the app itself would be very nice. Optional timers for tasks would be great too.

As you can see from my original review, I've been using for nearly 7 years. It is a well thought out and useful app that isn't overly complicated. The developer also has good responses and clear understanding of the GTD methodology. It has been a while since there have been updates, so wondering if any are in the works? From July 2015: A little nit-pick, but why does Windows have the Daily Plan as the top choice, but the Web version and Android have the Chaos Box as top choice? I think you are overworking the order (since there are so few items) and you should just follow the sequence in How it works: Projects = Step 1 Define your goals; Contexts = Step 2 Define your tasks;

I have used this app for YEARS both on Android and way back on my Windows Phones, and it is by far the best GTD app on the Store. I routinely come back to it again and again, and every phone I get, it's the first app that I download, even if I'm not at an organised place in my life at the time. I don't even fully follow the GTD system very well, and haven't utilised the app features to their fullest, but even as a To-Do app, there is nothing better than this one. Cannot recommend highly enough!
